Knowledge Base for Open Source applications

SOFTECHMATRIX is the absolute no.1 in the Netherlands when it comes to knowledge-intensive support of Open Source implementations.

SOFTECHMATRIX develops, maintains and manages an extensive knowledge base regarding quality Open Source applications for business, social sector and government agencies. This database is in development for several years and contains a range of technical, functional and commercial information on a range of business software.

This knowledge base is the basis for our service to Open Source suppliers (through our partner network) and various agencies and organizations with regard to advice and guidance.

Continuous knowledge development

Our technical staff is working daily to continually gaining experience and knowledge related to the selected packages. By conducting extensive test scenarios we get deep insight into the strengths but also weaknesses of a software package. How you can deal with the strengths and how the weaknesses can be avoided or even resolved, is documented in our knowledge base.

Up-to-date information

The design of our knowledge base and our ongoing maintenance of this knowledge, our customers always provide current information. New releases and updates of our managed packages are always tested and certified. Subsequently, all relevant information in the knowledge base for this new version is tested and where necessary supplemented and/or updated.

Availability of the Knowledge Base

For different groups (Open Source vendors, consultants, large end users, etc.) we offer on a contractual basis to access our knowledge base. The knowledgebase is organized by specific software package and has a decomposition into technical, functional and commercial information.

Additional support through our HelpDesk

For those questions and issues not yet available in our knowledge base, our HelpDesk is available. All questions made through the helpdesk will be, after reconstitution and any further development, contained in the knowledge database. Our development of knowledge based on questions from our partners and customers is in this way again available to our customers.
